Nordic College of Equine Dentistry is an international scientific network where practitioners and scientists can share, learn and help with the improvement of diagnostics and treatments of equine dental issues. Over the past twenty years, equine dentistry has progressed dramatically and has become a mature veterinary discipline within equine medicine. Such a rapid evolution was the inspiration behind NCED. Gentle care of healthy teeth, together with pain free dental treatments, is essential to NCED.

 

The improvement within education and development for colleagues is uppermost. Sharing this education with horse owners is vital. They should know that equine teeth are sensitive live structures needing the same care as human teeth. The welfare of our equine patients is of the highest priority.
