Ylva Rubin lives close to Varberg, in the southwest of Sweden. She graduated from veterinary school in 1997 and became an equine dentist at the first possible exam at SLU.

Ylva started her equine dentistry clinic in 2000 and lives on a farm with family and lots of animals, including about 30 horses. The horses are for breeding, training and competition.
