At NCED, we believe equine dentistry should be gentle, precise, and backed by science. Our members are veterinarians, dentists, and students from all over the world who share a passion for high-quality, evidence-based care. Together, we learn, share, and raise the standard of equine dentistry – one horse at a time.

For those who wish to take a more active role in our mission, you may later apply to become a FellowMember – a higher level of membership for those who contribute actively to NCED’s work and goals.

Our mission is to share knowledge with both veterinarians and horse owners through courses, lectures, and publications – and to provide support and networking for colleagues in equine dentistry.
Membership & Fee

Annual fee: €100 (applies to Members, Fellows, and Board members)

The membership must be valid both when you buy a NCED course and when you attend it.

Membership year: September the 1st – August the 31. Due to a recent change of membership period terms (from 365 days from payment to above) your 2025 membership will be valid all the way to 31st of August 2026 regardless of when you paid it.

Steps to be a member
âââââââDo you want to deepen your knowledge in equine dentistry and be part of an international network of skilled colleagues? As a member of NCED, you gain access to resources, connections, and tools that help you work evidence-based, always with the horse’s welfare in mind.
By becoming a member you will be able to register for the Congress and the NCED members-only-courses, get priority in waiting lists for fully booked NCED courses, as well as get access to the member pages and the valuable forum that's just being launched. By being a member you are welcome to engage in the NCED subdivisions, working together to evolve the art of equine dentistry and health.

Select Membership, below. The NCED membership year is from September 1st to August 31st and automatically renews for as long as you wish. This means that you are a part of the community without interruption. For details, read the fine print in the former section.

Payment
Follow the instructions in the checkout procedure and fill in all boxes of the forms. For fastest processing of your membership application, you can pay by card via Stripe. Make sure your card is enabled for online purchases, 3D Secure authentication. If you would rather have an invoice, that's no problem, it just takes a little longer for the membership to be activated. For invoice send an email to us.

Confirmation
After the membership fee is paid, the administration will review your application and if everything is correct, your membership will be activated. This is to reduce the risk of bots entering the website.

All benefits
As a member of NCED, you get access to the member area on the website where you will find webinars, forums and other material aimed at you as a member. You are included in the newsletter chain, so you don't miss any news. As a member, you are welcome to register for congresses and courses organized under NCED wings.
