Ellen Winqvist lives in Uppsala, Sweden, and has had a burning interest in equine dentistry wellness ever since she started veterinary school. Ellen graduated as a veterinarian in 2014 an as an equine dentist at SLU in 2014. Since year 2020, Ellen works as the veterinary practice manager at the Distriktsveterinärerna Fjärdhundra, which is part of the Swedish Board of Agriculture. The work includes being both the director of the clinic, which currently consists of 19 people, and time as a veterinary clinician with focus on dentistry - both routine and more advanced cases. Ellen is passionate about developing the shared knwoledge of equine dentistry for all veterinarians - good dental care is an important welfare factor. We can do a lot for our horses, in sometimes simple means.
