Who can become a member?

NCED welcomes practitioners who wants to perform an adequate oral examination and believe it is important to work evidence-based with equine dentistry. Thereby keeping in mind the delicate knowledge about dental anatomy/embryology, physiology and biomechanics of the head. Applicants must be educated veterinarian or human dentist with animal eligibility. Vet students with interest in equine dentistry are also welcome. Why become a member?

NCED provides a solid ground for colleagues, where we share good practice and build authority based on respect for gentle and well-documented dentistry. Use the library with dentistry related scientific publications, attend webinars or sign up for dentistry courses. Or visit the soon to be launched online forum to discuss dentistry with other members.

 

At the member pages you can present yourself and your practice and also search and find your dentistry colleagues - all over the world.
 

Our goal is to reach both veterinarians and horse owners through education; courses, presentations and publications by providing a network and support to colleagues working within Equine Dentistry.

Members of the NCED are required to keep their knowledge at a scientifically high level and practice evidence-based Equine Dentistry.

With the membership you get a password to get access to the member's area and all the content there. As a member you will also get first hand information about new course releases, and priority in line for the courses organized by NCED 2023, in case of waiting lists.

Member fee

NCED members, Fellows and Board members all pay an annual fee of 100 Euro, which enables the NCED to conduct continued education, courses and meetings.

 

The membership is considered confirmed after submitting the member form and payment of the 100 Euro annual fee. You can pay online below through PayPal or card payment by Stripe, or by invoice - if you prefer invoice, email us on post@nced.se.

After payment you will get a confirmation email along with a reciept. If you do not receive the email, please check you SPAM/Trash box from a computer/Mac before contacting us.

 

The membership fee is subject to change each year. The membership fee is not refundable upon membership termination.

The membership year runs from the 1st of January to the 31st of December.

Brand new member?
We kindly ask for a short description of your relevant education and a short motivation why you would like to become a member of the NCED. You will find a text field in the application form for this matter.
